Terms
The short, honest terms.
Knitter's Library is free to use. Here is what that means for you and for us, in plain language.

What you get
The app is free: no account, no subscription, no locked features. A tip on Ko-fi is a voluntary gift. It buys nothing, it isn't a purchase or a subscription, and it unlocks nothing in the app.
Your content is yours
Everything you put into the app — yarn, projects, photos, notes — stays yours. We claim no rights to it. Because it lives only on your device, backing it up is in your hands: use Export Data now and then, and keep your recovery phrase safe. Without it we cannot restore your library.
What we ask of you
Use the app for your own knitting. Please don't try to overload or work around our sync relay, and only share what you have the right to share — a pattern, for example, only if you hold the rights to it.
No warranty
Knitter's Library is built by one person in their spare time. We provide it as it is: we do our best, but we can't promise it will never have a bug or always be available. To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for lost data or other damage from using it — which is why the backup matters.
Changes
These terms may change over time. The date of the last change is at the top of this page; if you keep using the app, you accept the current version.
Law and contact
These terms are governed by the laws of the Czech Republic. If you have a question, write to us through the feedback form on the home page.
